Job description
The Intern Copywriter’s role is to bridge the gap between creative storytelling and conversion science. This is a launchpad position for a talented writer who wants to evolve into a full-stack Conversion Copywriter. You will not just be writing “catchy slogans”; you will be engineering persuasive text for Facebook Ads, landing pages, and email automation flows that are measured by revenue, not just applause.
Work will be scoped and reviewed by the Head of Growth Strategy. You will learn how to write copy that triggers psychological drivers, optimizes for SEO, and beats the control in A/B tests. This is a 3-month internship with a clear, predefined path to a full-time Junior Copywriter role based on performance.
- High-Intent Ad Copy: specific ad angles and hooks for Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and LinkedIn campaigns that stop the scroll and drive clicks.
- Landing Page Optimization: Collaborate with the Web Experience team to write clear, benefit-driven headlines and body copy for landing pages.
- Email Automation: Draft sequences for "Abandoned Cart" flows and "Lead Nurture" drips that turn cold leads into buyers.
- Research & Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitor ads and market trends to identify gaps in messaging.
- Data-Backed Iteration: Review campaign performance data with the team and rewrite copy based on what the numbers say is working.
Experience & Qualifications
- Education: A relevant Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, English, Psychology, or Communications) or a strong portfolio of self-taught work.
- The "Growth Mindset": You understand that good copy is not just about being clever; it is about selling. You are eager to learn how data validates creativity.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using collaborative tools (Google Workspace, Slack) and willing to learn AI tools (ChatGPT/Claude) to speed up research workflows.
- Attention to Detail: You have an eagle eye for grammar and tone consistency.
- Portfolio: A collection of writing samples (blogs, social posts, or spec ads) that demonstrate your ability to adapt your voice to different industries.
